Passive House

July 31st, 2010

A Passive House is using up to 85% less energy than a traditional house. And that is not by huge investments, but by means of doing the proper design, the proper details and proper building process. Everything is within our reach. Now.
DAC architecture, through architect Daniel C. Tabacaru, who has the Certification as a Passive House Designer has the expertise of doing this. That means that from the early stages of the project until the built one, by using PHPP modeling we are able to verify the solution to be implemented for an energy efficient design.
By using PHPP, the modeling system developed by Passive House Institute in Darmstatd, Germany, we are able to calculate the impact on the final energy consumption of different materials, geometry of the house, and positioning according to the South, and not the least, the comfort level of the users.
By using the PHPP modeling, developed and used successfully all around the world, we can help save money in the design process, building and maintenance of the building.
